Data disappears abroad

Hi,

 

I’ve recently visited Paris and I had a problem with Mobile Data over 4G there: after turning on the Roaming for the SIM card I had the connectivity for most of the time, but the data was sporadically unavailable for about 1 hour 2-3 times a day. I restarted the device, but that didn’t help.

I was using OnePlus 7T phone with Android 10.

 

Anyone knows what’s the deal?

Welcome to the T-Mobile community forums!
Which providers did you manually select while you were in Paris? 
These are the post-paid service providers in France where T-mobile has an agreement with:

 

Naam provider Is internet mogelijk? Bijzonderheden
Bouygues  

also 4G!

Orange  

also 4G!

Hello @Seccie,

thanks for taking time to answer. I didn’t select any operator manually, I left the setting to `Automatically choose operator’. It was always using the Orange operator in Paris.

I also asked the friends that were travelling with me and they also use T-Mobile. They too had the Orange as an operator in roaming, but they didn’t have any problems with data. So I guess it’s really something more personal.
