We bought Apple watch for our daughter and we’d like to use Apple watch family setup. Apple manager incorrectly told me that it’s possible, however, I could not find Netherlands in the list of supported carriers: https://www.apple.com/in/watch/cellular/#table-family-setup
How I can use it? Will T-Mobile NL support this feature?

There are more nice features which are possible with the Apple watch, like international roaming and this family setup.
Moderators will send this kind of ideas to the internal organisation, but you will not get predictions if and when these feature will become avaliable.
Onze t-mobile will officially announce these imporvements, they will also put this info on the forum. For now one Apple watch can be connected to the one Apple phone subscription. Even when the phone is not arround, the watch can be used for phonecalls and some smallband data service by the person who weares it.
Het zou top zijn als t-mobile roaming met de Apple Watch en Family Setup hier mogelijk gaat maken. Ze waren de eerste met 4g ondersteuning voor de Apple Watch, dus ik heb goede hoop. We hebben nu zo’n One2track horloge maar dat is niet bepaald ideaal.
Deze overweging ook zitten maken om een familielid/kind middels smartwatch in verbinding te kunnen houden.
Echter is het ook niet mogelijk om een los eSIM aan te schaffen met een eigen nummer, zodat diegene zijn eigen nummer heeft?
Telekom in Duitsland ondersteunt Family Setup al wel.
T-Mobile in Nederland helaas niet.
Voor zover ik weet moet een Apple Watch aan een iPhone gekoppeld zijn, ook de Cellular versie (tenzij de provider Family Setup ondersteunt natuurlijk).
Wat is de minimale versie van de Watch en de iPhone die odido ondersteund? Ik las op iCulture:
minimaal watchOS 8.1 en iOS 15.1
