Not Received Activation code for esim

I requested a new esim for a new iphone, and have successfully added the data plan, but the sim is still not activated. I request activation and it says it send a sms to my existing sim (in my old phone), but i don’t receive anything. The old sim/phone still works, and other messages are received.

I checked you account and I see that the eSIM is already activated. Does everything work accordingly? Let me know if you have any questions!

Hello, Afraid not. It does seem the old sim/phone is now deactivated, so now I have NO working phone or Sim. I was unable to active the last esim I ordered.
