Is renewal automatic? Can I continue after my contract at the same price?

I have received a notice that my Go 17.2 two-year contract will end soon. I am paying €15/month for 5GB and unlimited calls, which suits me well. My device is fine and I do not need to replace it.

I phoned the 0624001200 number and they told me that I can sign a new contract for €20/month (a 33% increase). It feels quite hostile to be forced to pay such a punitively high increase after only two years; this would not make me want to remain a T-mobile customer.

Can I simply ignore the notice, leave everything alone, and stay at the same price?

Your contract won’t end, but will continue as is. It just means that your long-term contract obligation will end soon.
