VPN AnyConnect werkt niet

Goedemorgen,

Dus hun vraag is nu of T-mobile elke uitgaande poort blokkeert.

Lekker bezig @tmoesel!

I have a similar problem. I have the Draytek modem with a 1G internet service. When trying to set up a VPN client on my network, the performance via the VPN is exceptionally slow. I have previously logged a call with the T-Mobile helpdesk, however they do not support any VPN related issues. The agent did however reset my modem and tried a few things but it did not make any difference to my issue.

I have also tried troubleshooting with the help of my current VPN service, different DNS settings and adresses, protocols, UDP, TCP, IKE, So far the IKE protocol works the best but still nowhere near satisfactory. I have tried on different devices and computers but the result remains the same. I get between 1 and 30% of the performance with the VPN enabled. Currently I have a service with SurfShark, however I have the same issue when using my Company’s Anyconnect corporate VPN service and also have the same issue when using ExpressVPN. I have tested from other networks and it works perfectly. I have also tested from a colleague’s network (also T-Mobile 1G fibre) and it works fine. The problem is only on my home internet connection. I have done tests  with my network disconnected from the Draytek router and connecting directly to the LAN port, WIF disabled , to ensure that other traffic is not influencing the tests. the results are the same.

The only difference between my Internet connection and that of my colleague is that he does not have the Draytek router. If I can not get this resolved I may be forced to change providers as I need to frequently work from home and use the Anyconnect VPN service to the office and it is pretty much unworkable.

Hey @Boyscout,

I want to help you with a solution! Could you please send me your postal code, house number, date of birth and the last four numbers of your bank account. Then I'll have a look into your connection and see if there are any problems that we can solve from our side. Thank you in advance!

Thank you for the reply. I have just had an online discussion with one of your agents. He said he will get back to me once he has done some investigation. If I don't hear from him early next week, I will contact you again.

Regards

Hi @Boyscout,

Did you receive a message from our colleague yet?

Awesome service from T-Mobile!! I received the new modem and the problem with the VPN has now been resolved. Thank you!
