Ongeveer eens per minuut een hoge ping van 2800 ms. Maakt gamen vrijwel onmogelijk

Zie ook onderstaande ping naar een World of Tanks server. Vrij stabiel rond 20 ms, maar elke minuut een hele hoge ping. Tijdens gamen loopt het spel dan zo'n 2-3 seconden vast.

Heb dit gedrag nooit eerder gemerkt.

 

Dit is met ADSL verbinding, en ethernet kabel van PC naar router/modem.

  • Open CMD en typ de volgende commands: Ping -n 100 1.1.1.1 & Ping -n 100 8.8.8.8

Dit is trouwens met de Zyxel T50 modem die T-Mobile indertijd geleverd heeft. Omgeving Dordrecht.

Maar goed, ik zie inmiddels dat ik niet de enige ben met dit probleem, en dat Odido al maandenlang weigert om hier serieus naar te kijken, dus ik ga me morgen vast oriënteren op een switch naar een andere provider.

Ik verwijs je door naar dit topic om ook hier je melding te maken : 

Je bent helaas niet de enige die er last van heeft, en zo ver ik heb gezien is het meerendeel een “gamer” die er last van heeft. Aangezien normaal webbrowsen, netflix kijken geen last heeft van een hoge latency hickup.

Hoi chapeau; ik zag het topic inmiddels ja. Op dit moment zijn de ping tijden goed, en eerder vandaag ook. Ik kijk nog even aan of dit iets eenmaligs was of iets tijdstip-afhankelijks.

netflix zal wel een buffer gebruiken dat groot genoeg is, en met browsen valt het niet echt op als een paginaatje zo af en toe 1-2 seconden extra nodig heeft, dus het is wel begrijpelijk dat alleen gamers er last van hebben.
