Red 'globe' light on zyxtel t-50

My internet (glasvezel KPN) has been on and off for weeks.

I followed all steps advised, including factory rest of the modem and deepswitches change (I changed them from 3&4 to 1&6).

Now, the red globe light has come up on my zyxtel t-50 (it wasn’t there before).

I followed again all the required steps, but nothing changes. Red globe light remains and I have no internet.

I’m working form home, so this is pretty urgent. 

Can someone please help? Send some technician or someone else? I followed all the steps few times, so please don’t advise to follow them again first..

Good that you started a topic about this. At the moment, our system is not working so I cannot perform a line measurement. Can you tell me how the FO Link light is on? 

  • Lit continuously green or orange
  • The light is flashing
  • The light is off

Then I will see if I can send a technician for you. Thanks in advance.

I don’t know which one is the FO Link light… 

but what’s happening is the following:

  • two lights on the left are permanently on with green light
  • first from the right is permanently off
  • second from the right is blinking slowly green
  • third from the right is permanently off
  • 4th and 5th from the right (2.4 & 5 G) are blinking fast green

Is that clear?

The red light has been fixed now.

I have changed deepswitches back from 1&6 to 3&4, and it started working again.

I’ll monitor it for some time though, to check if the connection remains stable, as it has been constantly on and off for weeks..
